Akhilan was born on 5th September 1995 to Pushparaj, who is a Politician in DMK, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He completed his secondary education at St.Mary’s Boys Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Chennai. He has a bachelor’s degree from S.A Engineering College, Chennai and then Akhilan joined a acting school Koothu Pattarai in Chennai.
Career
Akhilan is an Indian Actor, who is working in Tamil film and television industry. Akhilan made his acting debut in the Tamil film “Trisha Illana Nayanthara” along with Manisha Yadav, directed by Adhik Ravichandran and produced by Cameo Films India. He also acted with well known actresses like Anandhi, Misha Ghoshal, Nakshathra Nagesh, Roshini Haripriyan and Roopa Sree. He has appeared in some well known films such as Trisha Illana Nayanthara, Iraivi and Pyaar Prema Kaadhal. His performances in many films were lauded especially in “Iraivi” which was one of the Best films of the year 2016. He worked with some of the top names of that time like Akhilan in “Pyaar Prema Kaadhal” along with Harish Kalyan, Raiza Wilson and Anand Babu. Akhilan currently doing the leading role in Bharathi Kannamma serial along with Sweety in Vijay TV.
