Fathima Babu was born on 6th August 1968 to Kasibabu in Puducherry. She completed her secondary education at Puducherry. She has a bachelor’s degree from Bharathidasan Govt College for Women, Pondichéry. Fathima height 167 cm (5feet 4inch) and Weight 60 kg. She has a black color hair and a dark brown eye. She belongs to Hindu religion and caste details are unknown.

Career

Fathima Babu is an Indian actress, who is working in Tamil and Malayalam film industry. She made her acting debut in the Tamil film “Kalki” along with Rahman, directed by K.Balachander and produced by Rajam Balachander. Fathima Babu also used to be a newsreader for DD Podhigai, the Tamil version of Doordarshan news. She also acted with well known actors like Vijay, Ajith Kumar, Fahadh Faasil, Sanjeev, Jayaram and Dhanush. She has appeared in some well known films such as Ninaivirukkum Varai, Devathayai Kanden, Swarnamukhi, Nee Varuvai Ena and Nerukku Ner. Her performances in many films were lauded especially in “Devathaiyai Kanden” which was one of the Best films of the year 2005. She worked with some of the top names of that time like Fathima in “Azhagiya Pandipuram” along with Elango Nagarajah, Anjena Kirti, Manobala and Devadarshini. Fathima currently doing the negative role in Yaaradi Nee Mohini serial along with Shreekumar in Zee Tamil and one of the participants of the Bigg Boss Tamil 3 show along with Losliya Mariyanesan on Vijay TV.
