Gayathri Krishna is an Indian film actress, dancer and Theatre artist who works predominantly in Tamil and Malayalam films. After working in a Tamil film Joker (2016), she made her Mollywood debut in Mammootty’s Street Lights (2018).

Gayathri Krishna is from Thrissur and is the daughter of Thankappan and Omana. Her younger brother Anirudh is a school student. Gayathri Krishna started her film career with the 2016 Tamil language political satire film Joker, written and directed by Raju Murugan. The film co-stars Guru Somasundaram, Ramya Pandiyan, Bava Chelladurai, Ramasamy and Bala Murugan. Her Malayalam debut was Street Lights opposite Mammootty, which was directed by Shamdat. Gayathri starred in Merku Thodarchi Malai (2018) a Tamil language drama film where she played a worker on the estate opposite Antony. She later starred in some Malayalam films like Samaksham and Madhuram Ee Jeevitham. In 2019 she appeared in one Tamil film, Murugesh’s Sagaa is a action crime film where she played Sree Raam’s sister Jeni. Her next Tamil film, Seeru is an action thriller written and directed by Rathina Shiva.
