Gayathri Shastry is an Indian actress, who is working in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi film & television industry. She was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Gayathri made her acting debut in the Tamil film “Paasamalargal” along with Revathi, directed by Suresh Chandra Menon and produced by Tele Photo Films. She also acted with well known actors like Delhi Kumar, Bose Venkat, Rajkanth, Thirumurugan and Vishwa. She has appeared in some well known television serials such Om Namah Shivay, Nenjathai Killadhe, Devatha and Metti Oli. Her performances in many films were lauded especially in “Paasamalargal” which was one of the Best films of the year 1994. She worked with some of the top names of that time like Gayathri in “Rajavin Parvaiyile” along with Vijay, Ajith Kumar, Indraja and Vadivukkarasi. Gayathri Shastry currently doing the supporting role in Roja serial along with Eeramana Rojave Shiva in Sun TV.
