Gowthami Vembunathan is an Indian actress, who is working in Tamil film and television industry. She was born on 12th September in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu. Gowthami made her acting debut in the Tamil television serial “Ahalya” along with Shyam Ganesh, directed by K.Rajeev Prasad and produced by SAN Media Limited. She also acted with well-known actors like Ilavarasan, Ajay Rathnam, Erode Mahesh, Sanjeev and Abser. She has appeared in some well-known films such as Jambulingam 3D, Amara and Sri Ramanujar. Her performances in many films were lauded especially in “Vindhai” which was one of the Best films of the year 2015. She worked with some of the top names of that time like Gowthami in “Malini 22 Palayamkottai” along with Nithya Menen, Kovai Sarala and Anjali Rao. Gowthami currently doing the negative role in Niram Maaratha Pookkal serial along with Murali in Zee Tamil.
