Oviya is an Indian actress, who is working in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada film industry. She was born on 29th April 1991 in Thrissur, Kerala. Oviya made her acting debut in the Malayalam film “Kangaroo” along with Prithviraj, directed by Raj Babu and produced by Cicily Biju Kaipparedan. She also acted with well known actors like Vimal, Vijay Sethupathi, Prasanna and Sarath Kumar. She has appeared in some well known films such Kalavani, Muthukku Muthaaga and Marina. Her performances in many films were lauded especially in “Kalakalappu” which was one of the Best films of the year 2012. She worked with some of the top names of that time like Oviya in “Yaamirukka Bayamey” along with Kreshna, Rupa Manjari, Bose Venkat and Mahanadhi Shankar. Oviya currently Judge in Dance vs Dance show along with Nakul in Colors Tamil.
