Porkodi was born on 7th June 1984 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She completed her secondary education at St.Theresa’s Girls’ Higher Secondary School, Chennai. She has a bachelor’s degree from SDNB Vaishnav College for Women, Chennai. Porkodi height 165 cm (5 feet 5inch) and Weight 62 kg. She has a black color hair and a dark brown eye. Career

Porkodi is an Indian actress, who is working in Tamil film and television industry. Porkodi made her acting debut in the Tamil film “Magalir Mattum” along with Jyothika, directed by Bramma and produced by Suriya. She also acted with well known actors like Jeeva Ravi, Karthi, Bose Venkat, Jayam Ravi and Harish Kalyan. She has appeared in some well known films such Pyaar Prema Kaadhal, Tik Tik Tik and Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru. Her performances in many films were lauded especially in “Aramm” which was one of the Best films of the year 2017. She worked with some of the top names of that time like Porkodi in “Magalir Mattum” along with Nivedhithaa Sathish, Bhanupriya, Saranya and Shobana Karthikeyan. Porkodi currently doing the supporting role in Perazhagi serial along with Issac in Colors Tamil.
