Sabitha Anand is an Indian actress, who is working in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam film industry. She was born on 17th May 1965 to J.A.R.Anand and Khadeeja in Kerala. Sabitha made her acting debut in the Malayalam film “Mattoru Seetha” along with Kamal Haasan directed by P.Bhaskaran and produced by A.G.Films. She also acted with popular actors like Mammotty, Mohanlal, Ratheesh, Jayasurya and Arvind Swamy. She has appeared in some well known films such Ente Upasana, Sandarbham, Kanamarayathu, Hemavin Kadhalargal and Chinna Poove Mella Pesu. Her performances in many films were lauded especially in “Angadikkappurathu” which was one of the Best films of the year 1985. She worked with some of the top names of that time like Sabitha in “Kadhal Kottai” along with Ajith Kumar, Devayani and Heera Rajgopal. She has performed more than 100 Malayalam movies. She later went on to support roles and character roles for Mother and changed her focus to Tamil Cinema. Sabitha Anand currently doing the supporting role in Oru Oorla Oru Rajakumari serial along with Ashwini in Zee Tamil and negative role in Naam Iruvar Namakku Iruvar serial along with Senthil Kumar in Vijay TV.
