Earlier life

Mirchi Senthil was born on October 18, 1978 from S.Govindan and Premavathy in Palani, Tamil Nadu. He completed his secondary education at Don Bosco High School, Chennai. He has completed his bachelor’s degree (BCom) at Pachaiyappa College, Chennai and Masters (Master of Finance and Control) at Madurai Kamaraj University. He had a brief career in the banking industry before moving on to the media. He married his co-star from Madurai and Saravanan Meenatchi Tamil series Malayalam-Tamil actress Sreeja Chandran. Senthil height 172 cm (5 feet 8 inches) and weight 74 kg. He has a black hair and a dark brown eye. It belongs to the Hindu religion and the details of the caste are unknown.

Career

Senthil Kumar, popularly known as Mirchi Senthil is an Indian film and television actor, television presenter, radio jockey and voice actor. He began his career as a radio jockey with the radio station Radio Mirchi. He has presented numerous shows such as Mirchi Gold, Mirchi Bazaar, Pettai Raap, Neenga Naan Raja Sir, Sentilin sutta kadhai and Love Talkies. Senthil made his acting debut in the Tamil film “Thavamai Thavamirundhu” along with Saranya Ponvannan, directed by Cheran and produced by P.Shanmugam. He was nominated for the Filmfare awards for the best supporting actor category. Senthil played the main character in the hit television series called Madurai on Vijay TV broadcast from 2007 to 2009. After the success of this series, Senthil has again played the main character with the name of Saravanan in another sensational series Saravanan Meenatchi on Vijay TV. Senthil rose to fame after his performances in these two series and is very popular by his character name Saravanan. He won his first lead role in Sengathu Bhoomiyilae, which had the music of Ilaiyaraaja. This is followed by Kan Pesum Vaarthaigal, Pappali, Vennaliveedu, Romba nallavan da. He also acted with actresses known as Mahima Nambiar, Vijayalakshmi, Janani Ashok Kumar, Anjali Rao and Ishaara Nair. His performances in many films were praised especially in “Thavamai Thavamirundhu”, which was one of the best films of the year 2005. He has appeared in some well-known films such as Evano Oruvan, Sengathu Bhoomiyilae, Vennila Veedu and Kan Pesum Vaarthaigal. He worked with some of the most important names of that time as Senthil in “Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham” along with Santhanam, Ashna Zaveri, Rekha Suresh and Bose Venkat. Senthil Kumar currently plays the lead role (Hero) in the Naam Iruvar Namakku Iruvar series along with Rashmi Jayraj and Raksha Holla on Vijay TV.
