She has a Master’s degree from BHS First Grade College, Bangalore. She have a one brother and Three sisters. Rekha Krishnappa married to Vasanth Kumar with whom she has a daughter Pooja.
Career
Rekha Krishnappa is an Indian Actress, who is working in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam television industry. Rekha made her acting debut in the Tamil television serial “Parijatham” along with Vijay Krishnaraj, directed by Sukimurthy. She also acted with well known television actors like Badekkila Pradeep, Krishna, Prakash Rajan, Manush, Navin and Vikash. She has appeared in some well known television serials such as Radha Kalyana, Krishna Rukmini, Deivamagal, Neeli and Mayamohini. Her performances in many films were lauded especially in “Madarangi” which was one of the Best films of the year 2013. She worked with some of the top names of that time like Rekha Krishnappa in “Maanikya” along with Ravichandran, Sudeep, Ramya Krishna, Varalaxmi Sharathkumar and Ranya Rao. Rekha Krishnappa currently doing the negative role in Nandini serial along with Rahul Ravi in Sun TV.
