Thirumurugan is an Indian Director & Actor, who is working in Tamil Film and Television industry. He was born on 25th January 1972 in Karaikudi, Sivaganga and living in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He completed his secondary education at Alagappa Model Hr Sec School, Karaikkudi. He has a bachelor’s degree from Alagappa Arts and Science College, Karaikkudi. Thirumurugan made his Acting debut in the Tamil television serial “Metti Oli” along with Gayathri, produced by S.Siddique. He also acted with well known actresses like Vanaja, Srithika, Anjana, Neelima Rani and Shanti Williams. His performances in many films were lauded especially in “Em Magan” which was one of the Best films of the year 2006. The film was notably appreciated for its linear narration, which discussed familial bonds in a sensitive fashion. He worked with some of the top names of that time like Thirumurugan in “Muniyandi Vilangial Moonramandu” along with Bharath, Poorna and Vadivelu. He has directed in some well known television serials such Then Nilavu and Nadhaswaram. Thirumurugan currently doing the leading role in Kalyana Veedu serial along with Spoorthi in Sun TV.
