Earlier life
Vijayalakshmi was born 1980 in Chennai and did her studies in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Her mother is a Sri Lankan Tamil who moved to India due to 1984 riots in Sri Lanka while her father is from Nagercoil southern Tamilnadu who settled in Bangalore. She has a sister named Usha. In November 2006, she announced her engagement to actor Srujan Lokesh, with the wedding pencilled in for March 2007, after three years of dating. In a turn of events, the engagement was broken off. After being allegedly recieving social media attacks for her comments about Seeman and his supporters, she attempted suicide again in July 2020 by overdosing Blood Pressure tablets and got admitted in hospital.

Indian actress who starred in a variety of Movies, including Jodi Hakki in 1997, Bhoomi Thayiya Chochchala Maga in 1998. She was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Who is working in Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu film industry. Vijayalakshmi started her career in Sandalwood starring as a Kannada Film Actress in “Nagamandala” (1997) along with Prakash Raj, directed by T.S.Nagabharana and produced by Srihari L.Khoday. She also acted with well known actors like Dileep, Arya, Madhavan, Sathyaraj and Jagapati Babu. She has appeared in some well known films such as Surya Vamsha, Devadoothan, Hanuman Junction and Military. Her performances in many films were lauded especially in “Boss Engira Bhaskaran” which was one of the Best films of the year 2010. Vijayalakshmi was noted for roles in films like “Friends” along with Vijay, Surya and Devayani.
